To be eligible for this Contest, you (the “Contestant”) must be over the age of majority within your jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry. Contestants must be individuals and not organizations or groups. Contestants that reside in jurisdictions where these types of contests are prohibited by law, or where a license is required, are not eligible. Employees of Safe Software Inc. (“Safe”) and their household members are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
The “Contest Period” begins on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time and ends on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Entries received after the close of the Contest Period will not be eligible.
No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win. Entries are limited to one entry per person.
To enter, you must go to Safe’s 30 Year Landing page at safe.com/30years. From this page, you will be directed to enter a customer testimonial recording tool and answer 2-3 questions about your experience with Safe Software and FME. You must submit your video testimonial (“Video”) via the customer testimonial recording tool.
Each Video submission will be considered to be one (1) entry. Each Contestant (who must be an individual) may only submit one (1) entry. You may include other people in your Video submission (with their permission) but you will be the sole Contestant. If multiple people submit one Video, then only the first person named on the entry form will be considered the Contestant.
All Videos become Safe’s property as soon as they are submitted. Contestants that submit a Video waive all intellectual property and moral rights to the Video. Safe has the unfettered right to use, create derivative works of, and distribute the Videos in any manner and for any commercial purpose including, but not limited to, creating marketing campaigns, social media posts, and customer testimonials on our website.
Safe will select thirty (30) Videos from all eligible entries to be featured in Safe’s 30th Anniversary promotional campaign.
Each Video will be judged based on any of the following criteria:
Safe reserves the right to select the top 30 Videos in its sole and unfettered discretion.
From the 30 Videos that are included in the campaign, Safe will randomly draw:

In order to claim a Prize, a Contestant must be willing and able to take a picture with their FME swag package to be shown at the Conference and used in Safe’s social media. If the Contestant is unwilling or unable to take such a photo and allow its use by Safe, then Safe reserves the right to select a new winning entry.
All Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable or convertible to cash. In the event that Safe is unable to award a Prize as described, Safe reserves the right to award a replacement prize of equivalent value in its sole discretion.
Only one (1) Prize may be awarded to each Contestant.
The odds of winning a Prize depend on the total number and timing of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
All entries will be screened by Safe and any entry which Safe deems, in its sole discretion, to be obscene, unlawful, violent, harassing, libelous, or otherwise inappropriate for the Contest will be considered non-eligible and will not be entered into the Contest.
Contestants must use Vocal Video to submit their Videos. Vocal Video’s privacy policy is located at https://vocalvideo.com/privacy.
Selected Contestants will be notified by email no later than December 20th, 2023, and must respond within five (5) business days of such notification to receive a Prize. If a selected Contestant does not respond within this time frame, they may be disqualified and Safe may, in its sole discretion, select another Contestant. Safe is not responsible for the failure of a Contestant to receive notification, or for our failure to receive a Contestant’s response, for any reason whatsoever.
Before being declared a winner, the Contestant may be required to sign a standard release agreement.
Allow 4-6 weeks for shipment of the Prize after verification of your address and contact information. Safe is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address and/or telephone number of any Contestant.
All entries become the property of Safe Software, which assumes no responsibility for lost entries, for any failure of the website or Vocal Video platform during the Contest Period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof.
In the event of a dispute between entrants as to who submitted an entry, the entry shall be deemed submitted by the “authorized account holder” of the first listed email address submitted with the Video at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. A selected entrant may be requested to provide us with proof that they are the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the potentially winning entry.
By entering this Contest, each Contestant expressly consents to Safe, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with their entry for the purpose of administering the Contest and in accordance with Safe’s Privacy Policy. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to Safe for the purpose of the Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate, and in no way misleading. Safe reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Contestant who supplies untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading information.
By entering the Contest, you agree to abide by the Contest Rules and the decisions of Safe, which are final.
By accepting a Prize, you agree that Safe can use your Video, name, voice, and/or photograph in any publicity or advertising related to the Contest carried out by Safe without further remuneration, except where required by law.
No more than the stated number of prizes shall be awarded. If, due to an error, there are more claims for prizes than Prizes available, then Safe reserves the right to award the Prizes through a random drawing of eligible prize claims.
Safe reserves the right to suspend, cancel or modify the Contest at any time if Safe determines that, for any reason, the Contest cannot be run as originally planned or if there is any other occurrence compromising the fairness or integrity of the Contest.
The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial and municipal laws. Void wherever prohibited by law or in jurisdictions that require a license to hold such contests.
